The Management Committee would like to thank all the members and friends of COMMSSA WA who attended the 2023 AGM on Sunday 22 October, at the Bayswater Community Centre.
This year, for a number of unavoidable reasons, the AGM of the Association was held in October and not at the end of July. Only once – because of COVID-19, in 2022 – did such a delay happen in the 32 years since the foundation of COMMSSA.
On both occasions, the uncustomary postponement of the AGM to October, may well explain why the number of members of COMMSSA present (50 + 9 proxies in 2022 and 45 + 6 proxies in 2023) was well below the number of attendees in previous years. Even the number of members and friends of COMMSSA crowding around the tables to purchase Mauritian Gourmet food after the AGM was down this year, as was reflected in the smaller profit made on the day.
The date for the 2024 AGM has been set for Sunday 28 July 2024. Please make a note of that date. The venue will be confirmed on the website in due course.

Renew your yearly membership fee. The annual membership fee is due in July each year. If you have not yet done so, please go to the website and do it today.
Donate if you can. All donations, large or small count.
Attend our Events and Functions during the course of the year.
